Check up programs costs (260 Pounds)

The program includes:

-  Lab tests (urinalysis/ stool analysis, complete hemogram/ sedimentation rate (ESR) kidney functions, uric functions, lipid profile) liver functions, fasting and post prandial blood sugar.
-  ECG- chest X ray- pelvi-abdominal ultrasonography.
-  Refer to the clinics of: ophthalmologiacl check, ENT, Urology for males and Gynecology for females. Then refer to professor of Internal medicine to evaluate the results of the check up programs made.

Check up programs for diabetic costs (350 Pounds)

The program includes:

- Lab tests (urinalysis –protein in urine analysis- complete hemogram/ sedimentation rate     (ESR) kidney functions, uric functions, lipid profile liver functions, fasting and                   Glycosylated Hemoglobin.
-  ECG- chest X ray
- Pelvi-abdominal ultrasonography
- Doppler for cervical& lower links arterial.
- Refer to ophthalmology clinic and fundus exam.
- Refer to refer to professor of Internal medicine to evaluate the results of the check up programs made.




 

Women Health programs costs (450 Pounds)

The program includes:

     - Lab tests (urinalysis, complete hemogram/ sedimentation rate (ESR) kidney functions,        uric functions, lipid profile) liver functions, fasting and post prandial blood sugar.

     - ECG- pelvic ultrasonography- mammography –bone densitometry- cervical smear.

     -  Refer to professor of Internal medicine.

     -  Refer to professor of Gynecology to evaluate the results of the check up programs              made and give the instructions needed for keep the your health in a good condition.

 

Geriatrics programs(360 Pounds)
 

    - Lab tests (urinalysis, complete hemogram/ sedimentation rate (ESR) kidney functions,        uric functions, lipid profile) liver functions, fasting and post prandial blood sugar, PSA
      lab test for men).

    - ECG- chest X ray- pelvic ultrasonography- Doppler to examine cervical& lower links         arterial- Audiometry.

     -  Refer to refer to professor of Internal medicine to evaluate the results of the check up       programs made.

 * It is preferable to come to the hospital (the 3 rd floor zone B) at 8 o’clock A. M. The patient should be fasting for 12 hours and should bring previous medical check ups.  It is recommended to continue taking any current therapy on continuos bases.

Diabetes Checkup Program:

1-   Coming to the hospital third floor, Zone B, at 8:00 A. M. Patients will be accommodated during the day in a room and will be offered a breakfast.
2-   The patient should be fasting for 12 hours at least and should bring with him all the reports and previous check up documents. A patient should keep taking the therapy prescribed for him, even till the evening prior to the checkup date. All of these medicines are to be brought with the patient on checkup day.
3-   Meeting the responsible doctor to register the medical history of the patient
4-   The following examinations will be conducted:

5- Visiting Ophthalmology Clinic and checking up eye bottom
 -Checkup results and meeting the specialized physician for treatment instructions are on   the same day.

Instructions for Comprehensive Checkup Programs:

1-   The patient should come to the third floor of the New Kasr El Aini Teaching Hospital, Zone B, Checkup Department at 8:00 A. M on the date defined for that purpose.

2-   Having any diaries or fats in the dinner meal is not recommended

3-   Fasting from 8:00 P.M till 8:00 A. M. Drinking water during fasting is allowed.

4-   Regular taking of any medicines in their exact times.

5-   A urine and stool specimen is to be brought to the hospital with the patient on the examination day. In case of selecting Women Health or Health of the Aged, a urine specimen is to be brought only. In case of diabetes, a specimen of the first urine after getting up is desired.

6-   Bringing any drugs and previous examinations with you.

Women Comprehensive Checkup Program

The program consists of:

1-   Early diagnosis of tumours

Patients services include:

• Registration of blood & its components : as prescribed & ordered by medical practitioner (from banked blood or from special donors with special arrangements).

• Out patient transfusion service:

• Including : - Blood & blood components  transfusion.

• Iron replacement.

• Iron chelating agents.

• Venesection (therapeutic phlebotomies) for cases of polycythemia where there is abnormal increase in red blood corpuscles.

Therapeutic Aphaeresis: required in cases of intolerable increase in one of the plasma contents that should be exchanged with plasma or human albumin.
